The Traffic Division of the Pineville Police Department is dedicated to promoting safe and efficient travel throughout our community. Officers within this division focus on enforcing traffic laws, investigating vehicle crashes, and identifying roadway hazards to reduce accidents and, most importantly, save lives.

Under the leadership of Lieutenant Michael Daenen, the Traffic Division works in close coordination with local and state agencies during special events, school zone enforcement initiatives, and public safety campaigns. During parade season, motor officers are a familiar presence along local routes, helping ensure the safety of both participants and spectators.

Whether responding to a serious crash, directing traffic at large events, or assisting stranded motorists, the Traffic Division remains committed to keeping Pineville’s roadways safe for everyone.
