Patrol Division – Pineville Police Department

The Patrol Division serves as the backbone of the Pineville Police Department, providing around-the-clock service as the primary response unit for calls for service. Maintaining a constant and visible presence throughout the community, patrol officers are committed to protecting and serving our citizens 24 hours a day.

Tasked with crime prevention, traffic enforcement, and rapid response to emergencies, patrol officers are often the first point of contact during times of need. Their professionalism and readiness ensure that each situation is handled with urgency, care, and precision.

Captain Danny Paul and Lieutenant Randle Pearson oversee the daily operations of the Patrol Division, ensuring each shift is properly staffed, equipped, and prepared to meet the demands of our city. The division operates on a four-shift rotation, with each shift supported by two supervisors and a dedicated communications officer to maintain seamless coordination and effective communication.

Through proactive policing, strong community partnerships, and an unwavering commitment to public safety, the Patrol Division plays a vital role in carrying out the mission of the Pineville Police Department.
