Captain Roy Fore was born and raised in Rapides Parish, attending high school at Alexandria Senior High School and college at LSUA.  After four semesters he decided to enter the  Emergency Medical Technician class.  

After two years of instruction and many hours of clinical instruction, he became a certified  Paramedic.  He was  employed by Cenla Ambulance Service, Med Flight, and Acadian Ambulance service serving as a paramedic.

In 1999, Captain Fore was hired by the Pineville Police Deptartmentand enrolled at the Alexandria Regional Police Academy.  After graduation he reported for duty as a patrolman where he spent four years on various shifts. 

 In 2003 Captain Fore was offered the opportunity to join the Detective division..  He worked as a criminal investigator, evidence custodian, and crime scene investigator.  After several years in the Criminal Investigation Bureau , he achieved the rank of Captain.  He commands the Criminal Investigation Bureau and S.W.A.T. team.  

Captain Fore has been married for 25 years and has 3 children, one who is continuing the tradition of service as a law enforcement officer.
