Several officers were recognized at the City of Pineville Council Meeting with the Pineville Proud Award for their heroic actions during two separate structure fires in March 2025.
Sgt. Cates, Pfc. Sanchez, Ptn. Busby, Ptn. Bradley, Ptn. Cripps, were honored for rescuing a disabled resident from a burning apartment on March 3rd. Ptn. Hunter Rachal was recognized for rescuing a civilian from an active house fire on March 20th.
These officers put their own safety at risk to save lives, and their bravery reflects the very best of the Pineville Police Department.
